Eastman T64-T-IBM | T64-T-IBM Iced Blue Metallic

The coolest hollowbody in the room. Literally.

This is vintage-inspired fully hollow 16" thinline. The T64 is built around a maple laminate body, with a deluxe maple laminate top and a slim 1 3/4" body depth. The result is a guitar that has plenty of acoustic character without feeling like you're trying to wrestle a piece of furniture.

And then there are those Tonerider Dog Ear P-90s. Expect plenty of bite, grunt and attitude, with enough warmth to keep things musical when you turn the gain down. Clean, they have that woody, airy hollowbody thing going on; pushed harder, they get gloriously rude.

The 24.75" scale length, comfortable Traditional Even "C" maple neck and 12" radius ebony fingerboard make the T64 feel immediately familiar. Twenty medium-jumbo Jescar frets give your fingers something substantial to work with without turning the neck into a piece of scaffolding.

And visually? Come on.

That Iced Blue Metallic finish, black pickguard with ivoroid binding, nickel hardware and trapeze tailpiece are about as subtle as a Cadillac with whitewall tyres. In other words: not subtle at all. And absolutely none the worse for it.

The T64-T-IBM is vintage-inspired without being a museum piece, hollow without being fragile, and cool without having to explain itself.

Basically: a proper old-school electric guitar with a fresh coat of attitude.
