Ernie Ball 6-string bass

13,50

Six string "tic tac" bass string set for Danelectro, Jerry Jones and other fixed bridge 30" scale instruments tuned E to E an octave below standard guitar.

This is a great string set to tune a danelectro baritone to oldschool six-string bass tuned E-E. This is the tuning you hear on 50's and 60's Nashville and Hollywood records, also called "tic tac bass". The string gauge, length and taper works for 30" scale instruments with guitar tuners.

From the "twin peaks" theme to Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" to George Jones "The Race is on" to Jack Nitzsche's "The Lonely Surfer" or Glenn Campbell's "Wichita Lineman", this is the instrument and tuning you're hearing.

Works for other 30" scale instruments with a fixed bridge as well (not for vibratos or trapeze tailpieces)

NOT intended for 28.5" or 27" scale baritone guitars.

This is not a set for basses with a low B or C, it's a guitar set an octave lower, specifically for Danelectro, Jerry Jones and Ernie Ball/Music man instruments. Works great on the discontinued Squier Jazzmaster Baritone as well, if you want to tune it E-E.
