What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful earlier model G&L ASAT in really great shape for its age! This piece features the Leo Fender signature on the body which is only found on these earlier model G&Ls. The pickups sound outstanding and the slender maple neck is exceptionally comfortable. This particular guitar has a great transfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body resulting in some exceptional natural sustain!
Condition: Great overall shape especially for the guitar’s age! There are only a few tiny surface scratches and dings throughout the entire guitar. Fingerboard and frets have only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid maple body in blonde finish with Leo Fender’s signature on the upper bass side bout! G&L top-load bridge with six individual saddles. Dual knurled control knobs and a white pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with a maple fingerboard. Black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. G&L sealed tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original G&L single-coil Magnetic Field Design pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 4.70K Ohms.
Bridge: 4.86K Ohms.
