The NUX TUTTI is one of those little pedals that takes up hardly any room on your pedalboard but can make a surprisingly big difference to your sound. Built around NUX’s excellent polyphonic octave algorithm, the TUTTI tracks chords and single notes with very low latency, adding convincing upper and sub-octave sounds without turning your playing into a glitchy mess.

The name says it all: TUTTI means “full ensemble” – and that is exactly the idea behind this pedal. Want a bright octave-up layer for lead lines? A fat, synth-like octave below your guitar? Or both at the same time? The TUTTI has you covered.

Three modes, three different flavours

The standard Polyphonic mode adds both an octave above and a sub-octave below your original signal. Use the Dry, Up and Sub controls to find anything from a subtle thickening effect to a full-on octave wall of sound.

Switch to Bassline mode and the TUTTI becomes particularly interesting for bass-style playing. It adds the sub-octave only below a defined split point, while notes above that point remain unaffected. Great for creating those fat, synthy bass textures while keeping higher notes clean and natural.

Then there is Momentary mode. Press and hold the footswitch and the octave effect comes alive; release it and you're instantly back to your dry signal. Perfect for dropping octave sounds into a riff, solo or specific phrase without having to engage and disengage the pedal conventionally.

Small pedal, big possibilities

The TUTTI is part of NUX's Mini Core Series, so it is deliberately compact at just 94 x 51 x 53 mm. At 175 grams, it is easy to squeeze onto even a crowded pedalboard. NUX also includes rubber feet and hook-and-loop material for pedalboard mounting.

And there is a nice little bonus for pedalboard nerds: you can choose between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass. So whether you prefer the pure signal path of true bypass or the advantages of a buffer in a longer effects chain, the TUTTI can be configured to suit your setup.

For a compact octave pedal, this is a remarkably complete package. It is musical, responsive and genuinely useful rather than simply being a one-trick octave effect.
