The Rapier 22 brings one of Britain's most distinctive electric guitar designs into the modern era.

Inspired by the original Watkins Rapier models that helped shape the sound of countless British beat groups during the 1960s, this updated version retains all the visual charm of the original while benefiting from thoughtful modern upgrades throughout.

Designed by renowned UK pickup and guitar designer, the late Alan Entwistle (1947–2026)

The Rapier 22 combines vintage character with contemporary performance. Its lightweight okoume body delivers a resonant, balanced voice, while the comfortable soft "C" maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide an effortless playing experience across the entire neck.

Tonally, a pair of Entwistle EWR64 mini-humbuckers offer exceptional clarity, articulation, and output balance. From shimmering clean tones and jangly vintage rhythms to warm blues leads and driven rock sounds, the Rapier 22 covers a surprising amount of ground. Individual volume controls, a master tone control, and dedicated bass-cut switches for each pickup allow for a wide range of usable sounds, including the bright, chiming tones that made the original Rapiers so beloved.
