Description
Reverend Guitars' Spacehawk Reeves Gabrels' ** signature guitar is a semi-hollow sealed Korina body guitar with two Reverend Railhamer Reeves Gabrels signature humbuckers, Bigsby, roller bridge, locking tuners, killswitch and master volume, tone and bass countour controls.
All Reverend guitars have a treble bleed circuit, preserving the treble when you roll back the volume control. When you roll back a standard volume control, the tone loses treble and becomes dull sounding. Now you can turn down and still sound great!
The highly resonant body, coupled with a set of revolutionary Railhammer Reeves Gabrels Signature pickups, make for a versatile and uniquely responsive guitar that handles everything from woody clean to high gain mean. Unique features include: forearm contour, sealed body for controlled feedback, on-off toggle switch, custom soft-touch tremolo spring, and push-pull phase switch (in the tone control) to push the sonic boundaries.
Finally, an innovative semi-hollow for cutting edge players!
** Reeves Gabrels has the unusual distinction of meeting David Bowie and forming a band with him – Tin Machine in 1989. He went on to work with Bowie in his solo career, has a successful solo career of his own with his band Reeves Gabrels and His Imaginary Friends, and is currently the lead guitar player in The Cure.
