The Stanford Deja Vu series presents guitars that have made history. Countless guitarists have used these icons of guitar-making on stages and in studios all over the world.
The Old Mommy 18 MM, an OO style guitar, is built according to original plans of an instrument from 1929. Original pre-war instruments are very hard to find and only available at five-digit prices.
For the Old Mommy 18 MM we used solid African mahogany for the top. The guitar’s sound is direct with clear mids and less sustain. This instrument is recommended for studio recordings.
