How to Select the Right Width for an Elliott Capo
Elliott capos are custom-sized to fit the width of your guitar’s neck, so choosing the right width is crucial for a clean fit and comfortable use. The most important measurement is the neck width at the nut (where the strings meet the headstock). For most steel-string acoustics, the standard sizes are:
1 11/16" about 43 mm – 1 3/4" about 44.5 mm – 1 7/8" about 47.5 mm
Important: the width size of the capo refers tot he nut width! It is NOT the actual width of the capo!!
